WECPTA Community Service

The Community Service committee is focused on identifying and participating in service activities that benefit our community and help begin to inspire our children to make service a part of their lives. 

We have many exciting activities planned for the 2012-2013 year, including:

Fourth of July Parade. Ride or walk to promote WECPTA 

NorthCoast Challenge.  A Run/Walk/Kids Fun Run benefiting various organizations in Westlake and neighboring communities. 

May Dugan Food Drive. Participate in the Westlake PTA food drive 

Trick-or-Treating at Brighton Gardens. An assisted living facility in Westlake 

Letters from Santa. For WECPTA member children. 

Christmas Caroling at Devon Oaks. An assisted living facility in Westlake. 

Jared Boxes. Assemble and deliver boxes of gifts, toys, cards, and games to local children's hospitals (www.thejaredbox.com) 

Easter Baskets. Assemble baskets for organizations in need 

Flower Boxes on Hilliard. Plant flowers in our two boxes on Hilliard Blvd.
