Can anyone recommend a place around the area that is fabulous at cutting kids hair?  I have a squirmy 2 1/2 yr old girl who needs her first haircut.  I have been doing her bangs but I think I finally need to call in the big guns.  She's got curly hair and I don't want to ruin it.  Help?!

    Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has any babysitter/daycare recommendations.  It would definitely be for one day a week (Mondays) for 6 hours or so while I am working from home.  It may be one other day a week, depending on my work schedule.  Thank you for any recommendations!

My family moved to Westlake last summer and we are still sadly unfamiliar with the areas services... Does anyone have any recommendations for ant terminators in our area?  I have just started to notice the little rascals showing up and I want to get the jump on them.  Pronto!

    Hi Everyone:

I'm looking for someone who would be interested in cleaning my house while my kids sleep and then watching them when they wake up from their naps, M-F from about 1:30 - 5:30, while I work from home. (I have been drowning in work and just can't keep up with the wash and daily cleaning of kitchen, toys, etc.!) I also wanted a backup for my regular nanny, so that when she misses work here I don't have to miss work, but I really want someone with am emphasis on cleaning as well. The pay would be $15 per hour.

Please let me know if you have someone to recommend who may be interested. Thank you very much!!!!!

Do you have a child who is going to start at Dover next fall?

The Dover Elementary PTA needs your help! We are in the process of filling our committee chairs and co-chairs for next year and are looking for parents who want to get involved! We'd love to see some new faces on our committees!  There is something for everyone -- no matter what your time commitment.

Here's a link to the list of committees that can use your knowledge and expertise:

Getting involved is a great way to make the most of your children's education. By volunteering, you become familiar with Dover staff and meet some awesome parents -- all while helping the kiddos!

Please contact me, Jen Grimes at news@doverelementarypta.org for more information about any of these committees. If I can't answer your question, I can point you in the right direction!

Interested in volunteering? Please contact Dover PTA's 1st VP, Lori Sugimoto at amsugimoto@yahoo.com

    Thanks!
    Jen Grimes
