Thinking of taking the kids (3 & 6) to Idlewild this summer. Anyone have any advice? Any inside scoops I should know about?

sorry, just saw your post. We took Kaylee when she was 4 years old & it was awesome! At that time, you could buy discount tickets at Giant Eagle (not sure if they still sell them) - also at the park you can buy next day tickets for 1/2 the price. They have tons of picnic area outside of the park & you can bring your lunch and eat and then go back in.
